My favorite part of my day tour of the Westerdam on Holland America Line was the lunch. I think this is my favorite reason for cruising. You never need to worry about what you are going to eat next; you have plenty of choices. The very best part is you never need to clean up! You show up, make your choice, and the super staff takes care of everything.
My four course lunch began with a Parfait of Tuna and Salmon Tartares, followed by a delicious Sun-Dried tomato Gazpacho soup. I chose the Grilled Filet Mignon for my entree over the Pan-Seared Alaskan Salmon or the Pesto Forest Mushroom Ravioli and the dessert was Esterel Cake of white chocolate and raspberry sauce. Coffee and tea was served at the end with Petits Fours. #HALaboard
